Try Datastay PLM...unlike, SAP, Oracle and the others, it is an on-demand Software-as-a-Service offering. http://www.datastay.com

Oracle is dominating the database market but its spreading its power in other domains as well like PLM and SCM by buying existing companies.

Do you thinnk it would hurt Oracle? Or will they turn out much more stronger.

Will it continue to eat at other technologies?

Right now SAP is eating into PLM. PLM would soon go away as companies would stick to one-size-fit-all strategy and try to do different things using the assorted modules available in SAP.

Diff betwn PLM & ERP
ERP is more inclined towards Planning and Financials.Where as PLM is more specific towards the Product. And I guess "Product" is the lifeline fr any company.PLM also take cares of Workflow,Concurrent Engineering and many more..

does it still need plm?
